Ahh, home. These two little towns have been instrumental in making me who I am. That might be funny because I’m definitely not a Florida person, but as I lived in these towns for a total of 12 years, they were home for a majority of my life. Stuart was Continue Reading
A brief overview of our 10 day trip to Ireland and Scotland, including the restaurants we visited, lodging information and activities from different cities.
August 5, 2017 was the best day of our lives thus far. We held hands, spoke our vows, cried a little, and left as husband and wife. We feel so blessed by the beautiful day that we got to spend with our family and friends. We had planned our honeymoon Continue Reading
(Does anyone else fall in love with any town that has cobblestone streets?) Maybe I’m getting a little stir crazy… but I would love to be in Newport, Rhode Island right now. You know what? I would rather be in Newport most days. I spent seven years of my childhood Continue Reading
I’m so thankful that Allie and Bridgette asked me to take some photos of them for a project and for graduation announcements! I’ve been blessed by their friendships since we were all freshmen together at Auburn. Naturally, we took a walk around campus to get these pictures. How gorgeous are Continue Reading
(I just came up with the title for this post and I’m pretty proud of it. ) I was so excited for our third anniversary that I planned a little weekend trip to Savannah, Georgia: one of John’s favorite places and somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit! We ate AMAZING Continue Reading
Yesterday, John and I made a trip to Montgomery for a few hours. I haven’t been able to show him around the area where I’m now working so I planned a special date for us! First, we headed to Winton Blount Cultural Park (where the Walk I’m planning for NAMI Alabama will be held in September) to look around. We were excited to try out our new Sony A6000 camera with the kit lens and a Sony e-mount 55-210mm lens (which we used for most of the pictures). We walked around some and took photos before making an unexpected pit-stop at work to help with something. We then drove through downtown and walked down to Riverwalk and around the city a little. Of course, we ended the day with an ice cream cone and a stop at Best Buy (John’s request).
This is our favorite in terms of detail. We love mallards!
We had a great time messing with the new camera and looking at the beautiful birds and views at Blount Park. Enjoy these photos we took (amateur, but we still like them) and let us know what you like to do in Montgomery, AL! Hint: click on the photos to look through each individually.
Hey all! After writing about 20 pages of school papers this week, I was feeling the need to write about something fun! I’ve always wanted to take pictures and write about a trip or something cool John and I have done together, so I thought I’d take this chance to Continue Reading
