I had the extreme pleasure of taking photos as my childhood friend proposed to his beautiful girlfriend last night at Town Creek Park in Auburn. Daniel has been a part of my family’s life forever. We grew up going to the church where his dad was the pastor, sang together Continue Reading
Today I had the pleasure of taking some photos for my new sister-in-law! She will be competing in a school pageant soon and I’m honored that she asked me to help her find one good headshot to use. I hope she found one in the almost 50 finished photos we Continue Reading
I had the privilege of taking some headshots for my friend’s blogs! I’ve known Ivy since high school and she has become an awesome creator. She mentioned casually yesterday that she was writing 9 (!!!) books currently. So, she’s a busy lady. Enjoy some of my favorite headshots from the Continue Reading
I had the honor of taking graduation photos for several soon-to-be Auburn grads this week! I found Erika through Facebook and was thrilled that she chose me for some group photos with her friends in front of Samford Hall. We used Pinterest for some inspiration, and the ladies showed up Continue Reading
Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. I mean, I love love. It’s my favorite. Between John having two tests this week and being tight on money, we had a simple date this year (though I would have loved an aquarium trip like last year). I love Continue Reading
I’m so thankful that Allie and Bridgette asked me to take some photos of them for a project and for graduation announcements! I’ve been blessed by their friendships since we were all freshmen together at Auburn. Naturally, we took a walk around campus to get these pictures. How gorgeous are Continue Reading
(I just came up with the title for this post and I’m pretty proud of it. ) I was so excited for our third anniversary that I planned a little weekend trip to Savannah, Georgia: one of John’s favorite places and somewhere I’ve always wanted to visit! We ate AMAZING Continue Reading
We were so excited to do our engagement session with Kelsey Kemp of Kelsey Dawn Photography, who will be shooting our wedding in August! We were a little nervous to start, but Kelsey made us feel comfortable and we ended up having fun. You can see in the pictures that Continue Reading
Yesterday, John and I made a trip to Montgomery for a few hours. I haven’t been able to show him around the area where I’m now working so I planned a special date for us! First, we headed to Winton Blount Cultural Park (where the Walk I’m planning for NAMI Alabama will be held in September) to look around. We were excited to try out our new Sony A6000 camera with the kit lens and a Sony e-mount 55-210mm lens (which we used for most of the pictures). We walked around some and took photos before making an unexpected pit-stop at work to help with something. We then drove through downtown and walked down to Riverwalk and around the city a little. Of course, we ended the day with an ice cream cone and a stop at Best Buy (John’s request).
This is our favorite in terms of detail. We love mallards!
We had a great time messing with the new camera and looking at the beautiful birds and views at Blount Park. Enjoy these photos we took (amateur, but we still like them) and let us know what you like to do in Montgomery, AL! Hint: click on the photos to look through each individually.
