We are SO excited to share our navy and gold, mid-century dining room! I know I say this every time… but this room has taken over as my favorite room in the house. John and I have been working hard on finishing the decorating and furniture buying stage of this new home and this month brought the biggest surprise- finding the hutch of our dreams.

Mid-century is a style that John and I have both loved for a few years, but we didn’t have the chance to do in our first home. So, we jumped at the chance of having a mid-century dining room. We’ve loved getting to search for unique vintage pieces over the last few months and for the fun new decor pieces to go with them. We’re both big fans of jewel tones as well, which you can see all over our house! Our only remaining bit of work for this room is to replace the painting on the wall.

We’re in love. The room came together so nicely and it’s ready for holiday guests if that’s how the plans fall this year (hint hint)! I probably won’t keep our table styled all the time… but it’s kind of hard not to when it’s so cute!
