I had the extreme pleasure of taking photos as my childhood friend proposed to his beautiful girlfriend last night at Town Creek Park in Auburn. Daniel has been a part of my family’s life forever. We grew up going to the church where his dad was the pastor, sang together in our high school choir, and now my brother and Daniel have been roommates for the past few years at Auburn University. The Thompsons hold a special place in my heart, so I was thrilled that Daniel asked me to be there to capture some of the most special moments in his and Hannah’s lives thus far.
Daniel and Hannah have been going to Town Creek Park together every Friday since they started dating a little over a year and a half ago. In fact, they even had their first kiss in the very spot he proposed. Daniel convinced Hannah that he would never propose at this park, so she was completely stunned. Hours before the proposal, Daniel had come to the park to set up string lights and candles, which was a dream of Hannah’s. After she excitedly said yes, both of their families came running up the path and joined them to celebrate their engagement. It was perfect.
Congrats, you two! Can’t wait to see how God will use you together to further His kingdom.
